Bluebox

We think this standalone, fully customizable/programmable system is pretty handy for all sorts of outdoor and marine applications.

This is a bunch of awesome and useful stuff solidly mounted and set up in a genuine (with tag) micro pelican case. Of course, it has a clear lid so you can see what's going on inside.

Marine grade stainless steel external fasteners, industrial cable glands and waterproof connectors make the Bluebox suitable for powering and interfacing with sorts of outdoor applications. It can power a boat depth sounder and record the data (using a datalogging shield on the Mega). We (regretfully) wouldn't take it SCUBA diving, but it'll stand up to heavy duty splashing and quick dunks.

An 11.1V lithium ion battery bank will power the included Mega 2650 just about forever, or do some more serious work on motors, servos or other external 12V devices. There is space for 2 arduino shields stacked on top, and room in the box for adding other bits and pieces.

Development on an add-on to allow NMEA0183 data logging is underway, but we have regular Blueboxes in stock.
